Another in the Pi Island Series... One might think islanders would rely of the seas for their diet, but fortunately, unlike some islands, Lime Key's expansive topography and fertile soils also allow for agriculture. With that in mind, we're back to floor tiles in the bathroom. Ripples and dimples, this image came to me while resting in a recliner and letting my eyes sink in different colors. Somewhat crazy, but for me, the colors, the farm and the ripples in that tile resulted in a sketch, then some color and hopefully this will look even better with a green frame... I personally like the movement as one looks across the fields [can't really say what the cultivator has planted, but I'm told its all legal.. at least on these islands]. Again its working on color and liking how it evolves from a pencil sketch to final - and that's not to say one doesn't have doubts along the way, but as I said to my neighbor [a real artist: https://www.kathyweissart.com/ ]… love it or leave it, when done walk away and start afresh.
